Chapstick Holders - How Creative!

SO here's a little project I did and everyone from CTMH seems to love it. I shared it with some other girls in my area and I've given it away as little gifts to friends, teachers and hostesses at parties. I've attached the instructions on how to make this crafty little chapstick holder.
Chap Stick Holder Directions Supplies: 5 ¾” x 3 ½” pc of Cardstock for the outside of holder 5 3/4” x 3 1/2” pc of Cardstock for the inside of holder (I made mine just a touch smaller) B&T paper and cardstock to decorate as desired. Ribbon for ties Score the outside pc of Cardstock at the 2 ½” mark. Flip it around and score the other end also at 2 ½” mark. Score the inside pc of Cardstock at the 2 3/8” mark. Flip it around and score the other end also at 2 3/8” mark. Cutting for the Inside pc of Cardstock. (See template for cutting directions). Decorate the Outside and Inside pcs as desired. Cut 2 pcs of ribbon at 6” each for the ties. Glue the spines together of the Inside and Outside pcs of the decorated cardstock. Make sure you are not getting glue on the cut out areas. Glue ribbon for the ties on the inside-front of the OUTSIDE pc of decorated cardstock. Approx. one inch in and centered in the middle. Do the same to the inside-back of the OUTSIDE pc. Glue the rest of the inside pc of cardstock to the outside pc. Cut matching paper approx. 2 ½” x the length of your chap stick. Using glue dots or double sided adhesive glue wrap around the chapstick container. Insert chap stick and tie closed.

Easter's coming soon

Try making your own cards to hand out to family and friends for Easter. I made these cute and simple 4x4 cards. Card stock base choosen is Colonial White, the new Tulip coloured card stock cut 3.5x3.5 with the corners punched; I choose tulips. The February Stamp of the Month Easter Eggs D1340 was used and Bunny Love B1324. Inks such as Creme Brulee Z2167, Juniper Z2165 and Petal Z2161 were used for the background eggs. I used various colours of markers for the bunny and pop dotted it to give dimension to the card, added my message and Baby Pink Sassy Strands to tie it all together. A simple message was added inside.

Celebrate St. Patty's Day

Here's a card I put together for St. Patty's Day; everyone could use some luck! I used Ponderosa Pine and white daisy card stock for my base. Ink used is also Ponderosa Pine. Stamp Set Luck. I pop dotted the Good Luck square and added some White Daisy 4mm brads near the bottom to carry your eye down. A very simple card to make for any scrap booking level.
